Job summary

Pearl River Resort Associates in Choctaw, MS is seeking a Maintenance HVAC technician to service heating, ventilation, cooling and propane systems across the property's facilities.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot motors, read mechanical drawings, repair ducts and monitor propane systems. The role requires HVAC certification, a high school diploma or GED, universal recovery certification, and 3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification is required.
• Three (3) years’ experience in maintenance and operation of four pipe fan coil units up to 25000 cfm.
• Three (3) years’ experience in operation and troubleshooting of energy management systems.
• Universal recovery certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems including heating, ventilation, cooling and propane systems.
• Adjust, troubleshoot and repair motors and motor control systems.
• Read and follow mechanical drawings to complete tasks.
• Maintain Refrigeration log book and documentation.
• Inspect and repair ductwork and install new ducts as needed.
• Monitor and repair propane systems.
• Provide training and guidance to other associates on HVAC functions.
• Maintain and update as-built drawings for HVAC systems.
• Stock and maintain spare parts for HVAC equipment.
