Job summary

Frank Gay Services in Tampa is seeking a skilled Residential HVAC Maintenance Technician who can diagnose problems, perform preventative maintenance, and provide top-notch service to customers. You will troubleshoot systems, replace parts, and ensure energy efficiency with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires at least 1 year of residential HVAC experience, knowledge of HVAC codes and safety, and the ability to manage a fleet vehicle and inventory.

Qualifications

• 1 year of residential HVAC service experience minimum.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC codes and safety procedures.
• Experience managing a fleet vehicle and product inventory.
• Sales and Customer Service experience required.
• Must pass motor vehicle & background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
• Test HVAC system performance and efficiency using specialized tools and equipment.
• Install, repair, or replace defective parts or components of HVAC systems.
• Identify and recommend upgrades or improvements to enhance system performance and energy efficiency.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on HVAC systems.
• Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while working on HVAC systems.

Compensation:

• $75,000 - $125,000+/yr
