Who You Are

Service Technicians perform thorough maintenance on all ages of equipment, with the ability to accurately diagnose heating and air conditioning system issues. You must be able to recognize potential breakdown issues before they happen and make the appropriate recommendations to the customer. You must also be comfortable asking for money and deliver excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain attendance based on business needs.
  • Ensure new/returning customers’ concerns are addressed and handled appropriately, timely, and in an accurate manner.
  • Ability to manage stress, difficult, or emotional customer situations.
  • Operating company vehicles; expected to follow all state and federal laws and maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicles.
  • Safety responsibilities & requirements will be provided in training; no tolerance will be accepted for disregard of safety instructions.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, hand tools, and all other test equipment utilized in the trade.
  • Perform skilled maintenance work in the repair, installation, and alteration of HVAC equipment, components, timers, motors, and any other wiring system as needed.
  • Submit customer invoices via company iPad, correctly documenting customer equipment information, diagnostics, and all recommended repairs.
  • Perform proper maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems that prevent systems from breaking down and provide safety and comfort for our clients.
  • Communicate options to clients for maintenance, repairs, and replacement.
  • Maintain professionalism in interactions with customers, team members, and vendors.

Required Qualifications

The employee must be comfortable working in tight spaces for an extended period of time in attics and crawl spaces as needed. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation & Hours
  • $50,000–$90,000 annually
  • Hours 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
  • Days Monday – Friday with occasional weekends
