Job summary

New Vista KY is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure reliable operation of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, and electrical systems at our Somerset facility. The role includes inspection, testing, record-keeping, part requisition, and routine preventative maintenance to prevent downtime.

The position requires an EPA license, at least 1 year of HVAC experience, and a high school diploma or GED. A criminal background and drug screening are required; a full HVAC license is preferred.

Qualifications

• EPA license is required.
• At least 1 year of HVAC experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to meet criminal background and drug screening standards.
• HVAC license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, ventilation and related electrical systems.
• Inspect, test and perform checks on equipment.
• Maintain basic records and requisition needed parts.
• Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency work orders in related skilled areas.
• May work with electric circuits.
