Forsyth County General Services Department is seeking a Maintenance Technician II - HVAC to maintain HVAC systems across county government facilities, including the Law Enforcement Detention Center. The role includes preventive maintenance, repairs, and system troubleshooting with building automation programs.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 3+ years in HVAC/building trades and a valid driver’s license; CJIS security requirements apply. Mon-Fri schedule 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment; charge systems, solder/braze, and use multimeter.
• Calibrate thermostats and navigate building automation programs; inspect residential units.
