Pioneer Valley Environmental is seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Tech to join our team in Ware, MA. You will travel from home to assigned job sites within a 30-mile radius, performing preventive maintenance and service on HVAC systems, identifying issues, and ensuring safe operation.

You will provide detailed estimates, communicate with customers, and contribute to a dynamic, customer-focused service team. Benefits include a Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime and on-call work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC experience (preferred).
• OSHA/EPA certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to provide your own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and service on HVAC and AC systems (oil, gas/NP).

WHAT VITAL ASSISTANCE DO YOU PROVIDE?

This position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with opportunities for overtime and on-call assignments. Technicians dispatch directly from their homes to job sites each day and are only required to report to the central office for Tuesday meetings.

As an HVAC Tech at Pioneer Valley Environmental, you will begin your day from home, traveling directly to assigned job sites. You will perform maintenance and service on HVAC and AC systems (oil, gas/NP), identify failing parts, and conduct combustion analysis readings to ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently. Additionally, you will prepare detailed estimates for recommended services and maintain clear, professional communication with customers. This role provides a dynamic and rewarding environment where your technical expertise will make a direct impact on customer satisfaction.

Candidates must successfully pass a background check, and we also conduct pre-employment drug testing. Please note that any job offer extended will be contingent upon the results of both background and drug testing.
