Job description

HVAC Assistant Job Description

1. Perform basic visual checks of all types of HVAC equipment, inspecting for air and water leaks to ensure proper operation, and troubleshoot and repair as needed.
2. Inspect and check various valves for proper operation and leaks on Fan Coil Units.
3. Clean air intakes on AHUs.
4. Perform weekly washdown of loading dock and drain hoses.
5. Change air filters according to the preventative maintenance schedule.
6. Order filter inventory.
7. Clean kitchen hoods and grease traps in kitchen areas.
8. Perform drain maintenance and treatments.
9. Wash inside loading dock areas as needed.
10. Maintain basic PC skills (Microsoft Windows OS, Office suite, CMMS, mobile devices, etc.).
11. Understand building schematics and blueprints.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
13. Travel between Milwaukee and Franklin Campus will be required.
14. Understand and comply with safety procedures related to these tasks, maintaining a good safety record.
15. Position hours: Core hours are 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, with potential shifts from 2pm-10:30pm depending on HVAC scheduling.
16. Compensation: $27.00/hr.
