We are looking to fill our HVAC / Maintenance Assistant Manager position. If you are an experienced HVAC / Maintenance Technician ready for the next step in your career, we want to hear from you! As the HVAC / Maintenance Assistant Manager, you will diagnose electrical, plumbing, HVAC issues, assist Maintenance Technicians, and handle special projects around our campus. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm, with a once-a-month weekend rotation.

Summary

The HVAC / Maintenance Assistant Manager should have strong technical skills, troubleshooting ability, and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and electronics systems. They should work well under pressure and oversee maintenance activities, including building upkeep.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule maintenance tasks
• Supervise maintenance staff and monitor performance
• Perform inspections and identify issues
• Make repairs and ensure timely completion
• Develop maintenance procedures and SOPs
• Advocate for the department's needs
• Respond to emergencies
• Communicate daily with the maintenance manager
• Participate in on-call rotations
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical certifications preferred

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Good customer service skills
• Knowledge of HVAC controls and systems
• Understanding of preventive maintenance procedures
