Job summary

Cherokee Nation Entertainment is seeking a hands-on HVAC technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across office and outdoor sites. The role requires physical work, lifting, and adherence to safety procedures with PPE.

You will install ductwork, check refrigerant, replace filters, respond to emergency calls, and mentor other staff. A High School Diploma and 5 years HVAC experience, plus a valid driver's license, are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 5 years HVAC experience or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Working knowledge of power tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform checks and services on all HVAC units, including cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, changing filters, and inspecting controls.
• Install and/or modify ductwork as needed.
• Respond promptly to all HVAC service calls.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC and electrical systems.
• Perform routine HVAC maintenance at all assigned locations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to other employees as directed.
• Maintain safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Be available for emergency maintenance and repair outside of normal work hours.

The role requires physical labor, including lifting heavy objects, and exposure to sharp, hot, and/or cold equipment. Safety is a top priority, and the employee must adhere to all safety procedures and always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. The position may also require working outside of normal hours in the event of emergencies.
