Job summary

Karya Property Management (KPM) is seeking a skilled HVAC Licensed Technician to join our maintenance team. This full-time role supports multiple residential and commercial properties, ensuring reliable climate control and occupant comfort.

You will install, service, and repair HVAC systems, read blueprints, and follow safety guidelines while coordinating with property managers to minimize downtime. A valid HVAC license and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Valid HVAC license or certification required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and on-call shifts as needed.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with R32 refrigerant and new HVAC equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC malfunctions promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to schedule repairs and upgrades minimizing downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of service, repairs, and parts used.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies and industry best practices.
