Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in HVAC (bachelor’s preferred) and have hands-on HVAC experience. Teaching or workforce development background and online instruction familiarity (Blackboard)

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC, Building Construction Tech, or related field is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; strong industry experience may be considered in lieu.
• Professional experience in HVAC installation, servicing, or management is expected.
• Teaching/training/workforce development experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach HVAC courses and deliver applied instruction aligned with industry standards.
• Develop syllabi, lesson plans, activities, and assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students.
• Stay current with HVAC technologies, codes, and safety practices.
