HVAC Lead Technician ($21-30/ Hour)

We seek a candidate who shares these values for the position of Cool Guy Lead Technician.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and train HVAC apprentices.
• Install HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and repair electronic and mechanical components of HVAC systems.
• Identify and load required equipment efficiently for each job.
• Install refrigerant lines, including soldering and brazing.
• Install sheet metal and flex duct systems.
• Connect gas lines and heating equipment per code.
• Follow all safety precautions and wear appropriate safety gear.
• Maintain proper stock of parts, tools, and safety equipment in the company vehicle.
• Keep the company vehicle clean and professional.
• Understand company pricing and generate invoices on-site.
• Establish positive relationships with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Collect customer payments ethically.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to ensure job completion.
• Document job details and readings accurately.
• Collaborate with other Lead Techs as directed.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Type II Certification or higher.
• At least 2 years of HVAC experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime and on-call weekends.
• Owns necessary hand tools for daily operations.
• Proficient in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to supervise, mentor, and train others professionally.
• Maintain a fun, respectful, and positive attitude.
