Job summary

Canady’s Heating Air Plumbing in Richmond Hill, GA is seeking an HVAC Lead Install Technician to install, replace, and service heating, air conditioning, air quality, and refrigeration systems on year-round residential and light commercial projects. You’ll work with a company-provided truck and tools, and participate in ongoing training to advance certifications.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years HVAC installation experience with Universal EPA.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and tight environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and service heating, air conditioning, air quality, and refrigeration systems.
• Replace or retrofit HVAC systems to meet current efficiency and safety standards.
• Install thermostats, controls, and related accessories.
• Test system functionality and ensure proper airflow and temperature control.
• Collaborate with customers to explain the installation process and answer questions.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Connect electrical wiring and control systems according to diagrams and safety codes.
• Join fuel, water, and refrigerant lines to HVAC systems and test for leaks.
• Use electrical testing equipment to check circuits, calibrate components, and ensure safe operation.
• Educate customers on proper system use and maintenance.
