Job summary

Sandbox+ is expanding its HVAC team in Fort Collins, CO and seeks a Lead Installer who can own installations from prep to turnover. This field-based role emphasizes craftsmanship, precise sheet-metal work, and reliable commissioning.

You will lead complete residential HVAC projects, mentor junior installers, perform start-up testing, and ensure 100% documentation and customer handoff. Compensation ranges from $30–$35/hour, depending on experience and credentials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience with leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of heat pumps, furnaces, ductless systems and controls.
• Ability to mentor apprentices and coordinate crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete residential HVAC installations from prep to turnover.
• Direct, train, and mentor supporting installers and apprentices.
• Execute start-up testing, airflow verification, and system commissioning.
• Protect customer property and ensure clean, professional handoffs.
• Complete installation photos, startup records, and closeout documentation.
