Job summary

King City Gardens is seeking a seasoned Lead Journeyman or Lead Foreman HVAC to transition from traditional commercial or industrial settings into cannabis manufacturing. You will join an in‑house maintenance team and help reduce reliance on outside contractors.

This on‑site role requires 7+ years of experience, EPA Universal Certification, and strong leadership and communication skills to train staff and improve system reliability in a controlled production environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience.
• Experience as a Lead Journeyman, Lead Foreman, or senior HVAC technician.
• EPA Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot rooftop units, split systems, chillers, boilers, exhaust systems, and humidity control equipment.
• Assist with building automation and environmental control systems.
• Partner with the existing HVAC Technician to build a strong in‑house HVAC program.
• Train and mentor maintenance personnel.
• Improve system efficiency and reduce downtime.
