Job summary

Johnson Controls in Maryland is seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics to support our light and heavy commercial teams with cutting-edge equipment. You will perform maintenance, repair and service on commercial heating and cooling systems, and collaborate with journeymen and apprentices to deliver reliable facility performance.

The role requires 3+ years in HVAC, EPA license, travel up to 20%, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
Minimum of three (3) years Commercial and/or industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience including rooftops, pumps, fans, towers, boilers, chillers, compressors, and plumbing.
Mechanical shaft alignment using dial indicators, etc. of pumps, fans, compressors.
Able to use vibration equipment to troubleshoot drivelines.
Travel 10–20% to support branch activities and customers.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
Collaborate with Journeymen and apprentices to deliver service with safety and quality.
Provide quotes and participate in Service Plus Rewards program.
