Thompson's Heating & Air Conditioning is a family owned and operated business searching for Service and Installation technicians for our growing business. Our Installers are self-motivated, knowledgeable, and know that putting the customer's needs first are their highest priority. Our family has been in the heating and air conditioning business for over 75 years, and we provide exceptional service to our customers. Our employees are treated like family, and we are here to help you grow your skills as a technician and installer.

Responsibilities

Install, Service and maintain HVAC systems in existing residential homes and businesses, sell maintenance agreements, sell new heating and air conditioning systems, and treat our customers like family.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and People Skills
• Professional appearance
• Excellent work ethic
• HVAC experience preferred, but we do have entry level positions available and we will train the right people
• Valid Driver’s License and Acceptable Driving Record
• Drug Test and Background Check Drug Test and Background Check
• High school diploma or GED
• Effective communication skills to communicate with customer and resolve customer issues, complaints, or concerns
• Effective and efficient time-management and organizational skills
• Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
• Ability to climb ladders and attic stairs and to work in confined spaces such as attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
• Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions that include but are not limited to: heat, cold, slippery surfaces, heights, and congested areas
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
