Job summary
CACI is seeking an Engineering Technician to provide HVAC, electrical and telecommunications installation and integration support across diverse projects. Responsibilities include HVAC maintenance, new installation, data center rack installation, and coordination for furnishing of facilities.
The role requires an associate degree with HVAC experience (or high school diploma with more years), ability to travel up to 75%, and the potential to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in technical or engineering discipline with 2 years HVAC experience, or high school diploma with 4 years HVAC experience.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- TS/SCI clearance is a plus or ability to obtain clearance.
Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC installation for commercial applications.
- Use electrical crimpers and cutters.
- Install prefabricated walls and flooring.
- Install A/V and IT equipment and infrastructure.
- Work at elevated platforms and ladders.
- Work with hand tools and measuring tools.
- Install and remove electrical wire/cable including fiber optics.
- Install HVAC ductwork and lines.
- Work in confined spaces, including raised access flooring.
- Travel up to 75% as required.
- Overtime and flexible schedule as needed.
- Possess ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance; current clearance is a plus.
