Job summary

CACI is seeking an Engineering Technician to provide HVAC, electrical and telecommunications installation and integration support across diverse projects. Responsibilities include HVAC maintenance, new installation, data center rack installation, and coordination for furnishing of facilities.

The role requires an associate degree with HVAC experience (or high school diploma with more years), ability to travel up to 75%, and the potential to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in technical or engineering discipline with 2 years HVAC experience, or high school diploma with 4 years HVAC experience.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• TS/SCI clearance is a plus or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC installation for commercial applications.
• Use electrical crimpers and cutters.
• Install prefabricated walls and flooring.
• Install A/V and IT equipment and infrastructure.
• Work at elevated platforms and ladders.
• Work with hand tools and measuring tools.
• Install and remove electrical wire/cable including fiber optics.
• Install HVAC ductwork and lines.
• Work in confined spaces, including raised access flooring.
• Travel up to 75% as required.
• Overtime and flexible schedule as needed.
• Possess ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance; current clearance is a plus.

The Opportunity:

This position will provide HVAC, electrical and telecommunications installation and integration support for a wide array of projects. Duties may include HVAC maintenance, new HVAC/Minisplit installation, Data Center Rack installation, and fit out to furnishing of company and customer facilities

Responsibilities:

• Experience in Commercial HVAC Installation.
• Experience using electrical crimpers/cutters.
• Installing prefabricated walls and flooring of various types.
• Installing A/V and IT equipment and infrastructure.
• Elevated platforms and ladders.
• Experience using various hand tools and measuring tools
• Experience installing and removing electrical wire/cable from sizes #12THHN to 500MCM and fiber optic cable.
• Experience Installing HVAC Cooling Duct Work and lines
• Working in confined space (Working in raised Access Flooring)
• Travel requirement is up to 75%
• Work overtime as required
• Flexible work schedule (my need to adjust schedule from day to night as required)
• Must be able to obtain TS/SCI Clearance ( A plus if applicant has a current TS/SCI Clearance )

Qualifications:

Required:
Associate’s degree in Technical or Engineering discipline AND 2 years of HVAC experience
OR
High School Diploma AND 4 years of HVAC experience. Candidates must be able to travel Domestically and Internationally as required.

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.

Minimum Required Hourly Wage:

$31.27
