Lindenwood is seeking an Instructor in HVAC for the Department of Education. The role includes planning, preparing, and delivering quality classroom instruction across lecture, clinical, and laboratory formats.
The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree in HVAC/R or engineering, certification from a recognized agency, and experience in teaching or fieldwork. The position demands strong engagement with students and compliance with educational standards.
Instructor – HVAC, Department of Education. No reports to Academic Dean. The instructor is responsible for imparting knowledge and skills to students, ensuring competency, providing quality classroom instruction in lecture, clinical, and laboratory formats, fostering student success, and maintaining professional growth.
Certification from a recognized agency must be obtained within 120 days of the first day teaching and maintained according to agency guidelines.
Stand, walk, sit for extended periods; use phone, keyboard, and other office equipment; work evening or weekend hours if necessary. Regularly see, talk, and hear.
