Job summary

The JOY FM is seeking an experienced HVAC instructor to teach in a postsecondary program. The role involves classroom, lab, and clinical instruction, aligned with course objectives and safety standards.

You will collaborate with the program administrator to develop syllabi and materials, maintain student records, and participate in faculty meetings and professional development. Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma/certificate in HVAC or HVACR from an accredited institution.
• At least three years of work experience in the HVAC field.
• Higher credentials in a relevant field are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, lab and/or clinical instruction per school policies.
• Collaborate with program administrator to develop syllabi, lesson plans and materials.
• Deliver content related to course objectives with strong practice skills.
• Maintain a safe, organized learning environment complying with safety regulations.
• Evaluate student performance using designated evaluation tools.
• Take attendance and input data into the Student Information System.
• Submit required paperwork and participate in faculty meetings and professional development.
