Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years HVAC/R hands-on experience.
• OSHA 10-hour Safety Certification required (within 6 months).
• EPA refrigerant certification required (within 6 months).
• Strong communication skills and mentoring adult students.
• Proficient with MS Office for recordkeeping.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage a classroom.

Responsibilities

• Teach HVAC/R classes on a regular schedule in hands-on classroom and lab.
• Create a welcoming, supportive learning environment.
• Help develop curriculum, prepare course materials, and maintain tools and equipment.
• Track attendance, grades, and student progress.
• Collaborate with the Program Coordinator and Campus leadership.
• Take part in ongoing instructor training and professional development.
