WSU Tech in Pittsburg, KS seeks an experienced HVAC Faculty member to develop and deliver high-quality instruction for the HVAC program. You will create curriculum content, provide hands-on training, assess student performance, and foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment that supports student success.

The role requires a strong HVAC industry background, EPA 608 certification, and the ability to use instructional technology and LMS tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years HVAC industry experience.
• EPA 608 certification is required.
• Strong communication and classroom management.
• Ability to use instructional technology to teach.

Responsabilités

• Design and deliver instruction aligned to course competencies and current industry standards.
• Create an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment.
• Maintain accurate academic records, including attendance and grades.
• Utilize instructional technology and the LMS to enhance learning.
• Collaborate with staff, faculty, and student support services to promote student success.
• Engage with Industry Advocate Teams to align with workforce needs.
• Participate in program review, assessment activities, and continuous improvement.
• Represent WSU Tech at recruitment and community engagement events.
