Job summary

JEVS Human Services, through Orleans Technical College, is seeking an HVAC Instructor to teach students in safety, math, and fundamentals of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 am to 3:10 pm, located in Philadelphia.

You will deliver curriculum, supervise hands-on lab tasks, and assess student knowledge through testing. Applicants should be prepared to prepare materials, adapt delivery methods to engage learners, and maintain attendance

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction, as specified in the curriculum, in the basics of air conditioning refrigeration and heating
• Supervise students in hands-on trades tasks
• Provide testing of students’ knowledge of theory
• Prepare curricula materials
• Utilize varying delivery methods and media to keep students engaged with the lesson for the full class day.
• Maintain student attendance and grade rosters

JEVS Human Services has an exciting opportunity to join the team at our Orleans Technical College as a HVAC Instructor. The Instructor will be responsible for teaching students through hands-on projects and theory in safety, math, and other basics of air conditioning refrigeration and heating.

This position is full time.Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 3:10 pm.
