Job summary

Southern Careers Institute (SCI) seeks experienced HVAC technicians to share their passion by teaching in our HVAC program as instructors. No teaching experience? SCI has a track record of turning seasoned technicians into successful educators.

You'll teach hands-on in our fully equipped facility, deliver accredited curriculum, mentor students, and help prepare them for careers in HVAC technology while emphasizing safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience working in HVAC.
• Or HVAC School certificate/diploma + 4 years practical work experience
• Or Associates/Bachelors + 3 years practical work experience
• Preferred NCCER Certification, and/or HVAC technical trades school diploma with continuing educational classes.

Requirements

• Texas ACR Contractor /Certified Technician License (issued by Texas Department Licensing and Regulation);
• Universal EPA 608 required;
• Preferred NCCER Certification, and/or HVAC technical trades school diploma with continuing educational classes.
