The Comfort Authority is growing and is seeking an HVAC Installer as part of our growth process.We're looking for someone with:

• Experience - at least 1 year experience as a residential retrofit installer with knowledge of local (Central Florida) codes for residential HVAC installation, the refrigerant cycle, superheat & subcool calculations, airflow, static pressure, setting the proper fan speed, and familiarity with troubleshooting high & low voltage issues
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills - you get a real sense of satisfaction when you solve puzzling issues
• Positive outlook - attitude is contagious, positive leaders cultivate positive employees and customers
• Great leadership skills - we're looking to develop you into a Lead Installer, which requires guiding and training helpers, and inspiring others to do their best, planning jobs and completing them successfully and on time
• Focus on the details - not only can you see the big picture, you know the little details are important, you can make your installs look good and leave the customer's home in better condition than you found it
• Dependability - you show up when (or before) you're expected, ready to get started, every day
• Physical ability - you know that installations are physically demanding, and you are willing and able to perform your job under challenging conditions
• Good driving record - you need have a current drivers license and be insurable

The Position: We’re looking for a full-time, permanent Retrofit Installer who shares in our belief in quality work, integrity, and pride in workmanship, and who wants to play an instrumental role in growing the company. Installers typically work 5 days per week and start at about $50k per year, including overtime. Incentive pay is offered for installs with no call-backs or red-tags, as well as voluntary weekend installations.

The Location: The Comfort Authority is centrally located in Tampa and is an easy drive to and from the surrounding Bay Area. Our current service area includes Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties.
