Job summary

Clean Climate HVAC in Connecticut seeks an experienced HVAC Installer to install heating, cooling and ventilation systems in homes and light commercial spaces. You will handle start-ups, testing, and calibrations with attention to code compliance and quality.

The role requires reading diagrams, basic electrical and refrigerant knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. A valid EPA 608 certification and a clean driving record are required; familiarity with ServiceTitan is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC installation experience (must)
• EPA 608 Certification Type II or Universal (must)
• Driver's license with clean driving record (must)
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics (must)
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills (must)
• Basic electrical and refrigerant knowledge (must)
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs (must)
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops (must)

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, boilers, and ventilation systems
• Connect refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, ductwork, and controls per manufacturer specs and code
• Perform start-ups, testing, and adjustments for proper system operation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members on installation details
• Ensure all installations pass local code inspections and meet company quality standards
• Complete required documentation and system start-up forms in ServiceTitan
• Assist in training apprentices and support other technicians when needed
