Job summary

EmergencyMD is seeking motivated HVAC Installers-Service Technicians in Sioux Falls, SD. Candidates will perform high-quality HVAC services including repairs, maintenance, and installations. This is a full-time role with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, plus on-call and overtime opportunities.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00/hour (based on experience)

Full‑Time Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with an on‑call schedule and overtime available

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AS OUR HVAC INSTALLER - SERVICE TECHNICIAN:

• Performing accurate, efficient, and high‑quality residential HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installations while following all blueprints, wiring diagrams, and building codes
• Accurately installing equipment and related components, including ductwork, wiring, control systems, thermostats, and more, and testing new systems to check functionality
• Using diagnostic tools to identify the source of system issues or refrigerant leaks
• Repairing mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and replacing parts as needed (motors, fans, thermostats, etc.)
• Professionally communicating with homeowners, explaining repair needs, generating cost estimates, and providing usage/maintenance tips
• Maintaining detailed service records, work orders, and installation reports
• Coordinating with contractors, construction teams, and supervisors as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and work in areas such as attics, rooftops, and confined spaces
• Ability to safely and accurately use power tools and diagnostic tools
• Ability to stay up‑to‑date with new HVAC technology, regulations, and industry changes
• Ability to complete accurate documentation, maintain your tools, and keep your service vehicle in good condition
• Diagnostic skills and a customer service mindset
