Central Oregon Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electric is looking for HVAC Installers – Retro to join our growing team.

Summary: We are looking for experienced HVAC installers for multi and single-family new construction.

Compensation: $25 and up, per hour, DOE.

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Work Location: Redmond, OR

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently install top of the line residential HVAC equipment.
  • Ability to read prints and drawings, a plus.
  • Experience with installing ductwork, registers, thermostats, fireplaces, startup installed equipment and adjust to the job and manufacturers specifications, troubleshoot, and adapt to resolve/repair any/all issues, duct, gas/electric split, and mini-split systems.
  • Maintain communication with your manager, parts, and installation teams.
  • Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements.
  • Keep your truck inventory up to date.
  • Properly complete paperwork.
  • Attention to detail, accurate documentation of hours, and material per job.
  • Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Maintain quality standards on all installations and tasks.
  • Always maintain safety standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Prepare operational reports.
  • Update job-related knowledge or skills.
  • Assisting with customers’ queries.
Requirements
  • Valid and insurable driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HVAC experience.
  • Certifications and training in HVAC, preferred.
  • On-the-job training and continuing education assistance provided.
  • Have verifiable work history and references.
  • Able to communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely with other team members, management, and customers in person, by phone and email.
  • Ability to lift 80 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work in small spaces.
  • Must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, highly skilled in problem-solving and accurate resolutions, have a keen sense of urgency, be flexible, and demonstrate the ability to follow through on tasks timely and effectively.
  • Have a great attitude that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
  • Must be punctual with a clean presentation of themself and be prepared to work every day to provide reliable support for your team with excellent timeliness and attendance.
