Job description

Greener Solutions Heat & AC in Stockton, CA is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our team. You will be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in a residential setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a HVAC Installer
  • Experience with residential retrofit installations (change-outs)
  • Experience with cut-in residential installations
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Must pass a drug test and background check
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on project requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the installation team: set work priorities, delegate tasks, train employees, and oversee work assignments to ensure effective production.
  • Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems according to specifications, blueprints, and building codes.
  • Assemble and install HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and associated components.
  • Connect electrical wiring and controls to HVAC systems, ensuring proper operation and compliance with electrical codes.
  • Design, fabricate, and install various ducts and duct fittings.
  • Inspect and test installed HVAC systems to verify functionality and diagnose any performance issues.
  • Collaborate with clients, office staff, and project managers to ensure install projects are completed in a timely manner and to client specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while on the job site.
