Job summary

Style Crest is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer for a full-time, on-site role in Indianapolis, IN. You will install furnaces, A/C units, water heaters, ductwork, and gas lines, while wiring high and low voltage systems and brazing copper lines.

The position requires EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong problem-solving, organization, and customer-service skills. On-call and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous HVAC installation and/or service experience is required.
• EPA certification is required.
• Completion of a trade program in an applicable field is preferred.
• Maintains a valid driver’s license and an acceptable MVR.
• Working knowledge of HVAC installation, start up, related HVAC tools and test instruments.
• Must be mechanically inclined and be able to distinguish between different HVAC equipment.
• Demonstrates strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Demonstrates solid problem solving, judgment and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to work on-call and overtime hours require.

Responsibilities

• Safely install HVAC equipment and components, including furnaces, A/C units, water heaters, ductwork, and gas lines.
• Accurately wire both high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
• Install and braze copper refrigerant lines.
• Install sheet metal and flexible ductwork in manufactured homes and residential/light commercial buildings.
• Pre-measure and plan each job to determine required materials and tools.
• Load, transport, and verify all job materials and equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed on schedule and to code, meeting manufacturer and safety specifications.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for every job, including signatures, invoices, and payment handling.
• Communicate with dispatch and management to provide real-time updates on job status, delays, or issues.
• Respond to customer questions with professionalism and courtesy.
• Keep company vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Maintain and care for company-issued tools and equipment.
• Complete diagnostic readings using appropriate test instruments
