Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join our team! In this role, you will install complex heating and cooling systems for commercial buildings, including hot water heating systems, steam heating systems, chilled water systems, natural gas piping, rooftop units, boilers, pumps, and heat exchangers.

You are a licensed Pipefitter committed to quality work. A team player who is also comfortable working independently, you take pride in completing customer jobs efficiently. A positive attitude is essential!

Responsibilities

• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and components such as cabinet unit heaters or air handlers using hand or power tools.
• Plan HVAC piping layouts using drawings.
• Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems.
• Interact professionally with customers and other trades, and clearly communicate work orders and statuses.

Qualifications

• Valid CT HVAC License S-1, S-2
• Dependable transportation to and from the job site
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and hydronic systems
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical codes
