Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in Gaithersburg, MD is hiring an installer responsible for installing HVAC equipment and accessories at residential and light commercial sites. You will communicate with customers, answer questions, and promote products and services while upholding our standards of customer satisfaction.

The role includes performing limited diagnostics, designing and installing ducts, starting up systems, and mentoring other installers.

Qualifications

• HVAC technical training certification required.
• EPA and safety certifications required by regulations.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Experienced with installation of heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and perform audits.

Responsibilities

• Installs heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Performs limited diagnostics when needed.
• Designs, fabricates, and installs ducts and fittings.
• Performs start-ups on HVAC systems and components.
• Delivers excellent customer service and sustains satisfaction.
• Promotes products and services to customers.
• Trains other installers in skills and procedures as assigned.
• Assists field leadership with planning, estimating, and audits.
• Ensures company vehicles and tools are maintained and stocked.
