Link Service Heating & Cooling is hiring an Assistant HVAC Installer in Altoona, PA. This entry-level position requires no prior HVAC experience and offers hands-on learning with seasoned installers.

You will assist with installations, handle basic prep, and help maintain clean, safe job sites. A strong work ethic and reliability are valued as you grow toward an installer role.

Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience

What You'll Be Doing

As an Assistant HVAC Installer, you'll work alongside experienced installers to help install heating and air conditioning systems in residential homes.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the installation of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and other HVAC equipment.

• Learning to use HVAC tools, equipment, and installation techniques.

• Helping install ductwork, piping, and other system components.

• Loading, unloading, and organizing equipment and materials.

• Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas.

• Working with your team to provide customers with a great experience.

This is an entry-level position with opportunities to develop your skills and advance into a Lead Installer role.

• Comfortable performing physical work, using ladders, and working in basements, attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Experience with hand tools, construction, automotive repair, or other mechanical work is a plus, but not required.

Schedule & Location

• Full-time position, 40+ hours per week.

• Monday through Friday, with overtime and occasional weekend work as needed.
