Job summary

Werner Plumbing & Heating in Cheboygan, MI is seeking an HVAC Installer to install heating and cooling systems in new construction and existing buildings, delivering high-quality workmanship and dependable customer service.

Join a team with 70+ years of trusted service in Northern Michigan, enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule, and earn $25–$35/hour based on experience. A company vehicle with fuel card, tools and uniforms are provided, along with 401(k), PTO, and an HSA.

Qualifications

3+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Able to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders and work in tight spaces.
Skilled with hand and power tools.
Able to read blueprints and understand basic construction practices.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Minimum age of 18.

Responsibilities

Install HVAC systems in residential and commercial projects.
Complete heating and cooling system upgrades in existing buildings.
Ensure systems operate at maximum efficiency and performance.
Maintain accurate job documentation, including materials, time, and work completed.
Work independently while maintaining company quality standards.
Follow all safety procedures and job site protocols.
