Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and self-sufficient Installation Technician with more than a year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in installing ductwork, piping, vent systems, and residential HVAC equipment, and will be responsible for working independently and supervising apprentices. Key Responsibilities

• Independently install ductwork, piping, flex systems, and vent systems for various appliances.
• Handle start-up and testing duties, including setting up drain lines, thermostats, refrigerant piping, and zoning systems.
• Perform rough-in installations, including duct-side and start/test requirements.
• Install residential equipment, including generators.
• Work in diverse environments like rooftops, crawlspaces, attics, and basements.
• Communicate effectively with apprentices and oversee their work.
• Set up inspections and manage client payments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in HVAC installation or related fields.
• EPA certification required.
• Ability to install ductwork, piping, and vent systems with minimal supervision.
• Owns personal tools as per the provided list.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Physical ability to work in confined spaces and challenging environments.
• Willingness to work on-call Saturdays once a month.
• High school level reading, writing, and comprehension skills in English.

• Manage personal and apprentice time effectively.
