We seek an experienced HVAC installer to join our on-site team, reading blueprints and wiring diagrams, mounting ductwork, and installing units per project specs.

Qualifications

• Active driver’s license in the state where work is conducted.
• 4+ years HVAC installation experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to check work email; company provides a $10 stipend for data.
• Basic proficiency in English required for safety and on-site communication.

Responsibilities

• Install sheet metal components, including ductwork, roofing, siding, and other metal products, according to blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
• Installation of HVAC units, electronic, and mechanical components.
• Cut and shape sheet metal using various cutting equipment to meet project dimensions.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units, including electronic and mechanical components.
• Lay out and position sheet metal components based on project drawings and specifications, ensuring proper alignment and adherence to design requirements
• Reads blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Secure sheet metal components in place using appropriate fasteners, adhesives, welding, or soldering techniques. Ensure that all fastenings are done securely to withstand environmental conditions.
• Operates a variety of equipment, such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware.
• Operates various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments.
• Install or gas lines.
• Conserve, install, and recycle CFC and HCFC refrigerants if certified.
• Comply with the standards for HVAC systems as dictated by the State where the work is being done.
• Brazing, soldering, pipefitting, welding, and fabrication may be performed if certified.
• Install Condensate piping
