Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is seeking an HVAC installer/technician for new construction projects. You will read blueprints, install ductwork, and connect HVAC systems, ensuring safety and code compliance.

You must have a high school diploma, HVAC apprenticeship or certification preferred, proven field experience, and a valid driver's license. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential to manage multiple trades on site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, and specifications to determine layout, materials, and installation sequence.
• Perform rough-in work; layout and install duct systems, vents, baths fans, returns, and line sets per design and codes.
• Perform finish work: install air handlers, furnaces, condensers, HRVs/ERVs, thermostats, grilles, registers, and accessories; ensure proper airflow and operation.
• Install and connect refrigerant piping, condensate drains, and low-voltage/equipment wiring per diagrams and safety standards.
• Measure and determine ductwork and piping requirements; cut materials to size and assemble as necessary.
• Collaborate with project foreman and other trades to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Comply with safety standards and regulations, maintaining a clean work environment.
• Ensure all installations meet safety and building code requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new construction projects. This role requires technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals to ensure that all systems are installed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, and specifications to determine layout, materials, and installation sequence.
