Job summary

Essig Plumbing & Heating LLC in Berks County is seeking skilled residential HVAC install technicians to join our team. The role focuses on installing premium HVAC systems, upgrading ductwork, IAQ, and optimizing system performance with diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Universal Certification with strong working knowledge of R-410a.
• Experience working with fiberglass and metal ductwork.
• Control wiring experience.
• Valid Driver's License with no major infractions in the last five years.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Install air conditioning, heating, control systems, IAQ, and humidity/temperature control systems to manufacturer specifications.
• Startup and troubleshooting of residential HVAC systems.
• Build strong customer relationships and understand customer needs/expectations.
• Perform related work as assigned.

The Residential HVAC Install Retrofit specialist will work with numerous HVAC Equipment manufacturers, system parts and mechanisms, to install premium HVAC systems. This includes upgrading and improving ductwork, IAQ Systems, replacing parts and adjusting system controls for better performance by using special tools and diagnostic equipment.
