Job summary

Gillette Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Installer based in San Antonio, TX. You will install HVAC systems safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards, handling equipment replacement, ductwork, wiring, testing, and startup.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of professional HVAC installation experience.
• Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude and safe installation practices.
• Ability to complete residential HVAC installs from equipment replacement to startup.
• Pass drug screening and provide authorization to work in the United States.
• EPA 608 certification and Texas HVAC registration required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC and air conditioning systems safely and to quality standards.
• Complete installation work with focus on workmanship and productivity.
• Move installations forward using field experience without cutting corners.

Your New Role

• Work as an HVAC Installer based in San Antonio, TX.

• Install HVAC and air conditioning systems safely, efficiently, and to company quality expectations.

• Complete assigned HVAC installation work with a focus on workmanship, productivity, and meeting project expectations.

• Use your field experience to keep installations moving without cutting corners.

• Work effectively as part of the installation and HVAC service team as workloads and project needs change.

• Follow company processes and performance standards tied to installation quality and efficiency.

• Help the company complete more HVAC installations while maintaining the workmanship customers expect.

• Perform residential HVAC installation tasks including equipment replacement, refrigerant piping, ductwork, electrical connections, testing, and system start-up in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards.

• 2+ years of professional HVAC installation experience required, with compensation based heavily on demonstrated experience and ability

• Ability to complete HVAC installation work efficiently while maintaining quality

• Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude

• Ability to independently handle most residential HVAC installations, from equipment replacement through system startup

• Comfortable working in the real-world conditions that come with heating and air conditioning installation

• Ability to learn company technology and field processes

• ServiceTrade experience is a plus but is not required, and training can be provided

• Dependable work habits and a commitment to producing quality HVAC installation work

• Valid driver's license, EPA Section 608 Universal Certification, and Texas HVAC Technician Registration

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in typical residential HVAC environments, including attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and outdoor areas

• Ability to pass a drug screening and provide documentation establishing authorization to work in the United States
