1-800-Plumber +Air is seeking a motivated HVAC Installer to focus on residential and commercial unit installations in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. The ideal candidate must have at least 2-3 years of HVAC installation experience, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to pass drug screenings and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC, refrigeration and/or electrical systems.
• Disassemble and reassemble commercial or residential equipment.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment.
• Explain the issue and work to be performed.
• Perform routine maintenance and filter changes on equipment.
• Maintain inventory and keep the service vehicle stocked.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.

Skills

• Disassemble and reassemble commercial or residential equipment to perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment to service the equipment and/or mechanical system.
• Explain the issue and work to be performed, and provide a timeline and wait‑time explanations to the customer.
• Perform routine maintenance and filter changes on equipment in accordance with the customer agreement.
• Maintain inventory and keep the service vehicle supplied with the appropriate stock required.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
