Job summary

James Thomas Heating and Cooling is looking for an HVAC Installer to join the install team in a full-time role. Pay ranges from $16 to $20 per hour, with room for growth based on experience.

The job involves installing and replacing residential and commercial systems, running ductwork, wiring, testing startups, and ensuring clean, courteous job sites. This position requires at least 1 year of HVAC installation experience (strong helpers considered), knowledge of ductwork and basic electrical,

Qualifications

• 1+ year of HVAC installation experience (we'll consider strong helpers ready to step up)
• Working knowledge of ductwork, brazing, and basic electrical
• EPA 608 certification preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, on rooftops, and outdoors in all weather
• Dependable, on time, and able to work well with a team

Responsibilities

• Install and replace residential and commercial heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and rooftop units
• Run and modify ductwork, line sets, and condensate lines
• Make electrical and low-voltage connections to equipment and thermostats
• Start up and test new systems to make sure they run correctly
• Keep job sites clean and treat every customer's home or business with respect
• Work with the lead installer and office team to finish jobs on schedule
