Job summary

ACI Mechanical is seeking an individual experienced in HVAC installation and service. This individual will be relied on to display their installation skills and communicate their installation knowledge to team members and owners.

Primarily works out of the office. May be exposed to fumes, moving mechanical parts, and outdoor conditions according to OSHA standards. EPA Universal certification and 2 years minimum journeyman license required, plus a clean driving record and drug screening.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal certification is required.
• 2 years minimum as an HVAC, Mechanical, or Hydronic Journeyman license required.
• Driving record meets company requirements.
• Successful passing of pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Recover and evacuate standard refrigerant systems.
• Display ability to wire standard low voltage control thermostats & contactors.
• Pressure test and vacuum pump refrigeration systems.
• Efficiently install split systems, mini splits, and air handlers.
• Disconnect and connect exiting high voltage connections.
• Charge new refrigerant systems and perform start-up.
• Install RTU’s and perform start-ups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
