Job summary

ACI Mechanical is seeking an individual experienced in HVAC installation and service. This role requires hands-on proficiency with refrigerant systems, wiring low voltage controls, and starting up outdoor and indoor units.

The candidate will share installation knowledge with teammates and owners, contributing to project success. Primary duties include servicing and installing split systems, mini splits, and air handlers, while maintaining compliance with safety and company standards.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal certification is required.
• 2 years minimum as a HVAC, Mechanical, or Hydronic Journeyman license required.
• Driving record meets company requirements.
• Successful passing of pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Recover and evacuate standard refrigerant systems.
• Display ability to wire standard low voltage control thermostats & contactors.
• Pressure test and vacuum pump refrigeration systems.
• Efficiently install split systems, mini splits, and air handlers.
• Disconnect and connect exiting high voltage connections.
• Charge new refrigerant systems and perform start-up.
• Install RTU’s and perform start-ups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
