Qualifications

• 2 years experience in HVAC installation preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced installers and managers.
• Familiarity with mechanics, appliance repair, field service, property maintenance, welding, or boiler systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians in the installation of HVAC systems and components
• Install HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes
• Build comfort systems by installing air handlers, condensing units, package equipment, duct work, and refrigerant tubing
• Complete high and low voltage power connections
• Perform system start-up and commissioning, including verifying refrigerant charge, cfm settings and temperature difference
• Collaborate with a lead installer to complete installations in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records and service orders of work performed and materials used
• Keep tools and company vehicle maintained by staying organized and proactive
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all installations
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding system operation and maintenance requirements
