Job summary

Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking team members to install heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in residential settings. You will work under supervision to ensure proper functioning and safety, with opportunities to test, repair and start up equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude and good communication skills in English. Occasional overtime and weekend hours may be required, with some travel to sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; experience may substitute for education.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the HVAC trade.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; English proficiency required.
• Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Beginner computing skills; able to use a computer, laptop or tablet.
• Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required.

Responsibilities

• Install heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment and related products per company requirements and manufacturer specifications.
• Test systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Identify issues and perform required repairs to ensure all components work correctly.
• Complete all paperwork neatly, accurately and timely.
• May perform start-up on air conditioning systems as needed.
• Fabricate and install ducts and duct fittings as required.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; other duties as assigned.
