Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Corpus Christi, an affiliate of Authority Brands, has been the premier heating and cooling provider in the area for almost 40 years.

We’re excited to announce NEW management and look to add HVAC Installation Apprentices who will assist in installation of HVAC systems while providing exceptional customer service and educating customers on technical and investment decisions by offering multiple options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of residential HVAC equipment preferred.
• Must be able to communicate courteously with customers and follow crew leader directions.
• Must have appropriate trade tools.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leader with installation of air conditioning units and furnaces.
• Assist with installation and replacement of various HVAC systems and residential controls.
• Explain services provided to customers.
• Accurately document invoices including system components, services, and costs.
• Discuss current and future equipment and service needs with customers.
• Maintain the company vehicle and a professional image at all times.
• Participate in all company-sponsored training classes.

We’re excited to announce that we’re officially under NEW management and looking to add HVAC Installation Apprentices who will assist in the installation of HVAC systems while providing exceptional customer service and educating customers on technical and investment decisions by providing multiple options.

Responsibilities:

• Assist crew leader with installation of air conditioning units and furnaces.
• Assist with the installation and replacement of gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, electric furnaces, packaged terminal units, ductless split systems, humidification and dehumidification equipment, electronic air cleaners and air purification systems, and residential control systems.
• Explain each service provided for customers.
• Accurately document invoices to include age and type of each system component, services completed, and costs for service.
• Discuss with customer current and/or future equipment and service requirements.
• Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out.
• Maintain a professional image at all times.
• Participate in ALL company sponsored training classes.

• Ability to courteously communicate with customers and take directions from crew leader a must.
