Job summary

McAfee Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced HVAC Install Technician to install residential heating and cooling systems, lead installations, and ensure safety and quality on every job.

You will work on field sites across residential homes, handle ductwork, and communicate with homeowners, with EPA 608 certification preferred and NATE a plus; company offers year-round work and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• EPA 608 Type II certification required; universal preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC installation and ductwork.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• NATE certification is a plus.
• Ability to install indoor and outdoor equipment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Remove and replace HVAC equipment, including indoor and outdoor units.
• Install and modify ductwork as needed for system performance.
• Complete installations safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout each installation.
• Accurately complete all required job documentation.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and explain the operation of newly installed equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards and manufacturer specifications.

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
