Job summary

Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking an experienced HVAC Install Technician to support excellent customer relations by ensuring top-notch HVAC installations, competitive pricing, and strict adherence to codes and regulations.

Responsibilities include directing install teams, conducting quality checks, addressing customer inquiries promptly, and mentoring apprentices while maintaining safety standards and ethical practices.

Qualifications

• EPA Certified.
• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• NATE Certification preferred.
• HVAC certification or Diploma preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Directly manage install technicians. This includes but is not limited to training employees; planning, assigning; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employee
• Quality checks on recent customer HVAC installations.
• Respond to customer inquiries and problems in a timely manner; resolve customer complaints
• Able to assist techs in bidding and estimating jobs
• Ensure work is performed ethically and in compliance with state, local and Federal legal requirements as well as in adherence with company safety standards
• Pursue training and development opportunities whenever needed to improve capabilities
• Run weekly training meetings to instruct on sales practices, new products, and KPI reviews
• Supervise Apprentices
