Job summary

Powder River Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman HVAC Installer for residential and commercial retrofit installations in Sheridan and Gillette, Wyoming.

You will start up and troubleshoot furnaces, air handlers, rooftop units, heat pumps, and related equipment, and supervise junior installers. We provide company-supplied vehicle with gas card, training programs, and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• 4+ years HVAC installation experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Advanced understanding of layout, design, fabrication, and installation
• Basic fabrication knowledge of sheet metal fittings
• Size and draw duct work correctly
• Understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, wiring diagrams
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• High school diploma or its equivalent

Responsibilities

• Residential and commercial retrofit / changeout installations
• Start up and troubleshoot furnaces, air handlers, rooftop units, heat pumps, VRVs, and condensing units
• Supervise the work of other installers maintaining high-quality and time job performance
• Company paid training and Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer training
• All jobs are in state, no traveling

Work Hours: Monday through Friday | Hours fluctuates depending on job | 4/10 schedule available | available overtime
